Introducing our RSRG-HR

Rhomberg Bahntechnik Team Leader HR Sabrina Krassnitzer talks about her daily work.

As Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group, a full-service provider in railway technology, we offer a near complete range of services in the areas of railway construction, infrastructure and service - for you as an applicant this means that we can find the perfect job in the most suitable field of activity.
More than 1,800 employees at our main locations in Bregenz, Zurich and Berlin and at our branches worldwide will confirm this. This large number of staff sets particular challenges for our HR department, but it also makes their work varied.
Sabrina Krassnitzer, our Team Leader HR Bahntechnik, talks about her daily work:

Which symbol illustrates how you perceive and experience your role as an HR employee (within the RSRG and in general)?

My symbol is a key, because for me, HR has an absolute key function in the company. The challenge every day is to successfully master the balancing act between the needs of the employees and the goals of the company. HR is the key to success, because we bring new employees with new ideas into the company. HR also deals with the rough edges of the key, with the challenges to find "sharp" solutions quickly, to also open new doors, new opportunities (ideas for projects, new chances). Finally, the key can also represent our "supreme principle of confidentiality".

In your opinion, what should be in the DNA of a successful HR employee?

A successful HR employee should have increased interpersonal skills, professional competence and entrepreneurial thinking. A healthy dose of patience is also an advantage. I would also recommend a certain spirit of innovation and curiosity for new things.

What makes HR a passion for you personally?

If I may quote Albert Einstein here: "I have no special talent, but I am only passionately curious". My passion for HR therefore represents my curiosity to understand people, actions and organisations and to see those happy.

What has been your funniest/best HR moment?

For me, the best HR moments are when we can successfully complete HR projects, achieve the desired effect and find satisfactory solutions for employees and the company. Another very nice HR moment is the past HR conference with HR representatives from all over the world. The video messages from all countries were very touching and clearly showed the sense of belonging within the group.
