Switches and Crossings North Alliance, which specialises in railway engineering introduced innovative Sersa technology for the complete renewal of switch points in the UK. In this process, the track is replaced in one operation making the renewal quicker and requiring a smaller team on site, this greatly reduces both the duration and ongoing disruption caused by the works.
By combining the efficient, sustainable and innovative methods for track renewal from continental Europe with the excellent engineering knowledge in the United Kingdom, Amey Sersa brought about a step change in the industry.
